We are a UK-based charity providing both financial and practical assistance to prisoners of conscience and human rights defenders.
We believe that no-one should be persecuted, silenced, tortured or forced to flee their country for protecting or advancing human rights.
They tried to silence me with prison, violence, and fear.
But your support helped me survive — and
helped my family escape.
How we support human rights globally
Hardship Relief
By standing up and speaking out, human rights defenders often lose everything. We help them survive. Emergency grants for food, medicine or shelter – when it matters most.
Family Reunion
We help families find each other again after being torn apart by persecution- no matter the distance.
Requalification
Many human rights defenders are forced to start over again after fleeing persecution. We fund education and re-qualification bursaries so they can rebuild their lives.
